Driving from the north via I-35E
Travel south to the Inwood Road exit. Exit and
turn left onto Inwood. Turn right at the second traffic light onto West Campus
Drive. Take the first left onto a curving drive on the UT Southwestern campus.
Follow the drive to the Visitor's Parking Lot and turn right into the
lot.
After you park, cross at the crosswalk and walk across the paved plaza
to the Florence Building, E (#30) behind the flag poles. The entrance to the Library will be on
the left.
Driving from the north via US 75Travel
south on US 75 to the Northwest Highway exit. Exit and turn right onto Northwest
Highway. Travel west to Inwood Road. Turn left onto Inwood and travel south to
Harry Hines Blvd. Take the Harry Hines Blvd-Southbound exit. After entering Harry
Hines, turn right at the first traffic light (Butler Street). Turn right again.
Take the second left into the Visitor's Parking Lot.
After you park,
cross at the crosswalk and walk across the paved plaza to the Florence Building, E (#30) behind
the flag poles. The entrance to the Library will be on the left.
Driving from the north via the Dallas North TollwayTravel south on
the Dallas North Tollway to the Wycliff Road exit. Exit and turn right onto Wycliff.
Travel west to Harry Hines Blvd. Turn right onto Harry Hines and travel north
to Butler Street. Turn left onto Butler. Take the first available right, and then
take the second left into the Visitor's Parking Lot.
After you park,
cross at the crosswalk and walk across the paved plaza to the Florence Building, E (#30) behind
the flag poles. The entrance to the Library will be on the left.
Driving from the south via I-35E or US 67After entering I-35E, travel
north to the Inwood Road exit. Exit and turn right onto Inwood . Turn right at

US 175After entering I-45, travel north to the I-35E exit (Woodall Rodgers
Freeway). Exit and travel west on Woodall Rodgers to the North I-35E exit. Travel
north on I-35E to the Inwood Road exit. Exit and turn right onto Inwood. Turn
right at the second traffic light onto West Campus Drive. Take the first left
onto a curving drive on the UT Southwestern campus. Follow the drive to the Visitor's Parking Lot and turn right into the
lot.

Driving from the east via I-30 or US
80After entering I-30, travel west to the North I-35E exit. Merge onto
I-35E and travel north to the Inwood Road exit. Exit and turn right onto Inwood.
Turn right at the second traffic light onto West Campus Drive. Take the first
left onto a curving drive on the UT Southwestern campus. Follow the drive to the
Visitor's Parking Lot and turn right into the
lot.
After you park, cross at the crosswalk and walk across the paved plaza

Driving from the west via SH 183 or
SH 114After entering SH 183, travel east to the I-35E/SH 183 merge. Merge
onto I-35E and travel south to the Inwood Road exit. Exit and turn left onto Inwood.
Turn right at the second traffic light onto West Campus Drive. Take the first
left onto a curving drive on the UT Southwestern campus. Follow the drive to the
Visitor's Parking Lot and turn right into the
lot.
Driving from the west via I-30Travel
east on I-30 to the Hampton Road-North exit. Exit and merge onto Hampton and travel
north. (Note: Hampton Road becomes Inwood Road at the Trinity River bridge.) Continue
north on Inwood Road under I-35E. Turn right at the second traffic light onto
West Campus Drive. Take the first left onto a curving drive on the UT Southwestern
campus. Follow the drive to the Visitor's Parking Lot and turn right into the
lot.
After you park, cross at the crosswalk and walk across the paved plaza
to the Florence Building, E (#30) behind the flag poles. The entrance to the Library will be on
the left.
Walking from the Trinity Railway Express-Medical/
Market Center Station
After exiting the train, walk to the station exit.
Turn left and cross the train tracks toward Southwestern Medical Avenue (formerly known as Medical Center Drive).
Cross at the crosswalk and walk toward Parkland's Emergency entrance. A large
"Parkland Emergency" sign is posted at the building's entrance. Enter through
the doors to the left of the sign. Upon entering you will see a patient check-in
booth straight ahead and an information booth on your left. Veer left between
the two booths, heading toward the elevators.
At the hallway immediately
before the elevators, turn left and continue straight ahead down a long hallway.
Turn left at the first intersecting hallway. [You will see a brown ceiling directory
at this intersection, pointing to the left for Southwestern Medical School]. Continue
walking down this hallway. At some point, you will pass through a doorway with
two brown doors. The hallway will veer to your right. Continue walking to the
end of this hallway. At the end of the hallway, you will see glass windows.
Veer left at this point and continue walking straight ahead. As you reach the
front of this building, you will see the Library to your left.
Driving to the north campus (from south campus)
Visitor parking at
the north campus is limited, but it is available. To park at north campus, turn
left onto Harry Hines Blvd from the south campus. Continue north to Exchange Park, EP (#11) on the right. Free visitor parking is available in the G11 lot on the south side
of EP.
A lighted walkway crosses from the south side of
the EP parking area to the north campus. Walk toward the front entrance
and enter through the front portico of the Simmons Building, NB (#6).
Turn left for the elevators and proceed to the 2nd floor. When exiting the elevator, turn left, then right at the angled corridor. Turn left at the men's restroom, then right. Follow the corridor into the Pickens Biomedical Building and Conference Center, ND (#8) building and continue along the same corridor until you reach the Library in ND2.300. Signs along the way will help guide you.
Taking
the Campus Shuttle to the north campus (from south campus)Shuttle operating
hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. From the south campus
plaza, cross the street to the Faculty parking garage on the left. Enter the garage
and proceed to the fourth floor either by stairs or elevator. Turn to the right
and proceed to the outside shuttle waiting area.
Ride the shuttle via the
Intercampus Connector to the north campus. (Do not get off the shuttle at University Hospital and Emergency Room, St. Paul Building, UH [#18].)
After entering the parking garage on the north
campus, exit the shuttle at the third stop and enter the Pickens Biomedical Building and Conference Center, ND (#8) building . By elevator, proceed to the 2nd floor.
When exiting the elevator, turn left and walk a short distance to the Library in ND2.300.
Taking the DART Shuttle to the north campus (from train station)After
exiting the train, walk to the station exit. Turn left and cross the train tracks
toward Southwestern Medical Avenue (formerly known as Medical Center Drive). Turn right at the street and walk to
the DART Shuttle stop. A shuttle is usually waiting here whenever a train arrives,
but if one is not present, then a short wait may be necessary. Board the shuttle.
The
DART shuttle stops at several locations on the UT Southwestern campus. Some of
the stops include: - Breezeway connecting Parkland Health & Hospital
System and UT Southwestern University Hospital - Zale Lipshy
- North Campus
- Exchange Park
- Clinical Buildings I and II
- St. Paul Professional Buildings I and II
Walk toward the front entrance
and enter through the front portico of the Simmons Building, NB (#6).
