UT Southwestern Archives

The UT Southwestern Archives collects and preserves photographs, publications and unpublished documents which record the history of:

• UT Southwestern and its predecessor institutions (e.g., Southwestern Medical College)
• The University Hospitals: St. Paul and Zale Lipshy
• The careers of notable campus individuals
• Parkland Hospital

Individuals looking for photos or information about the history of UT Southwestern are invited to contact Bill Maina, Archivist, at 214-648-2629 or—in his absence—Library Administration at 214-648-2626. Donations of items to the Archives are also welcomed; contact Bill Maina to discuss a donation.

Material in the Archives is organized into collections based on subject matter. Each collection has a guide (also known as a finding aid) listing its content. Large collections have separate guides for print and photos. Guides are listed below, along with the dates covered by each collection:
