Library Responsibilities:
- Lead 43 professional and classified staff in delivering information resources and services to the UT Southwestern community, emphasizing the importance of excellent customer service and communications as organizational goals and strengths.
- Nurture a flexible, collaborative, and performance-oriented staff team.
- Represent the Library to campus committees, state governmental bodies, accrediting agencies, and academic, regional, and national organizations and consortia.
- Monitor and evaluate the strategic plan and supporting Library activities. Coach staff in developing and implementing strategies to support the Library's strategic initiatives.
- Monitor fiscal and technology planning with a budget of approximately $5 million.
