Library Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement outcomes-based evaluations, including the coordination of data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings.
  • Assist with the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of a Public Health Informationist Program with an initial focus on community health outreach.
  • Provide instruction to community/public health professionals on relevant health information resources for patients.
  • Identify funding opportunities for health information awareness and health literacy projects.
  • Develop and teach classes and instructional modules on library assessment and evaluation.
  • Remain current with relevant research in outcomes evaluation and assessment in higher education.
  • Assist library staff with short- and long-range strategic planning, performance measurement, and outcomes-based evaluation.
