Library Responsibilities:
- Design and implement outcomes-based evaluations, including the coordination of data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings.
- Assist with the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of a Public Health Informationist Program with an initial focus on community health outreach.
- Provide instruction to community/public health professionals on relevant health information resources for patients.
- Identify funding opportunities for health information awareness and health literacy projects.
- Develop and teach classes and instructional modules on library assessment and evaluation.
- Remain current with relevant research in outcomes evaluation and assessment in higher education.
- Assist library staff with short- and long-range strategic planning, performance measurement, and outcomes-based evaluation.
