Library Responsibilities:

  • Develop services that further the mission of the Library
  • Establish goals and implement programs that meet the needs of Library clients
  • Lead, support, and encourage unit staff members in implementation of programs and services that meet client needs
  • Identify and develop Liaison and Outreach opportunities throughout campus community
  • Collaborate with campus departments to promote Library resources, services, and 24/7 access options
  • Assess campus community information needs and promote Library resources and services that meet those needs
  • Assist Library units and staff in planning and developing services and resources to fill “unmet” information needs
  • Create strategic plans, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for unit operations in conjunction with other Library units
  • Develop and direct centralized promotional services and resources for Library
  • Advocate professional and personal development opportunities for unit staff members
