Library Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership of the Library’s Liaison Program through training and mentoring of the Liaison Group
- Meets regularly with campus departmental faculty and staff to determine client needs for research, patient care, or educational support
- Performs searches of the scientific and medical literature in response to client need
- Provides customized group or individualized point-of-need instruction to departments campus-wide
- Identifies Library expertise for targeted referral of client requests and current applications of mobile technologies
- Remains abreast of medical and research endeavor through attendance at departmental Grand Rounds, events, and campus outreach
- Assists clients with awareness service alerts in designated areas of interest for currency and relevance
- Participates in campus outreach relating Library’s numerous services and information resources to community needs
