David Mangelsdorf's Laboratory (THE MANGO LAB) is interested in understanding the molecular basis of transcriptional signaling by nuclear hormone receptors and exploiting their ligand dependency to discover novel therapeutic options for diseases such as atherosclerosis, gallstone disease, cholestasis, obesity, and cancer. His laboratory is currently characterizing the role of nuclear receptors in lipid metabolism. Click on the Mango for further information on the research done in the Mango Lab.
