Instructions for Result Restrieval
To get the results...
If you submitted your samples online, please log in first and then come back to this page to retrieve your results.
To explain the results...
1. Protein name, molecular weight, one peptide sequence, and GI number are provided. If multiple peptides are matched well against our database, only the peptide that is matched best will be provided. If you would like to view the list of all identified peptides, please send us an email.
2. If multiple proteins are identified in one gel band, the identified proteins will be provided in the order of decreasing significance. This means the first listed protein generally has a better matching score in the database search results than the second one, and so on.
3. If a question mark (?) is given after a protein's name or in the Note column for online data retrieval, it means that this protein has only one peptide found in the analysis. Even if the peptide matches the database very well, we feel that we cannot identify this protein as with more than 90 percent confidence.
4. The redundant proteins are not provided because the list could be quite long. If you are interested in the list, please send us an email.
