When you are ready to start a project fill in a project information form and read our policies statement. Depending on workload there may be a delay before a project can be started so please make sure that you let us know in good time before starting any experiments that require assistance from the imaging facility staff.
We have a comprehensive new online booking system (UTSW only) where you will need to create an account to either book equipment or submit samples for preparation. Use of each piece of equipment or service is subject to authorisation by a member of MCIF staff. This process will be via an automated email process which will happen the first time you try to make a reservation.
For users wishing to carry out specimen preparation we have a number of documents outlining specific procedures and documents with technical specifications of some of the equipment.
