Adult Protocols

Brain tumor researchers are constantly looking for new ways of effectively treating this disease. Clinical trials are programs for testing new medications and treatments. The earliest studies of a new treatment are called Phase I trials. They try to determine the highest safe dose of a new medication. Phase II trials try to determine if the drug is effective.  Phase III trials compare the new treatment with current treatments.

The North American Brain Tumor Consortium (NABTC) is a group of research facilities through out the US dedicated to finding new treatments for brain tumors.
