Welcome

The Mary Nell and Ralph B. Rogers Magnetic Resonance Center at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas is a facility dedicated to the development of novel NMR methods for measuring and understanding intermediary metabolism in patients.

The major areas of research are:

  • Use of stable isotopes to study multi-organ metabolism
  • Development of novel imaging agents responsive to metabolism

We encourage collaborations and offer training in the methods we develop.  Use Center Information, in the left menu bar to learn more about our Center.  The institutions that support this work are the National Center for Research Resources and the National Institute for Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK).
