Jennifer A. Collins, M. P. H. Research Assistant Jennifer earned B. S. degrees in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at the Ohio State University in 1998. Afterwards, she worked with the STARS study, which is currently comparing tomaxafine and rolaxafine as treatments for breast cancer. In 2002, she completed a MPH degree in the epidemiology of infectious diseases at Yale University. Her thesis, which detailed the establishment of a method for comparing the relative fitness of drug-resistant HIV strains, was awarded the Dean's Award. After working in Ronald Breaker’s lab at Yale University until 2004, she accepted a position in the Winkler lab. She is currently investigating the molecular mechanism for glmS-mediated genetic regulation.
